Australian tourism advert receives 8 million views


Tourism Australia’s global campaign ‘There’s nothing like Australia’ has been dubbed a success after receiving over 8 million global views whilst being online for only a fortnight. As a result of the advertisement’s popularity, there has been widespread interest in getting involved with Tourism Australia, with nearly 100 tourism operators registering their interest in partaking in the next stage of the campaign. The advert featured scenes from a wide range of Australia’s most beautiful and impressive landmarks, including Sydney harbour, Uluru, the Great Barrier Reef and Kangaroo Island. The campaign has gone from strength to strength with the interactive tablet application being downloaded over 6000 times. The app lets you explore the 12 locations of the TV advert in more detail with some extra content on Canberra and the Great Ocean Road too.
