New Zealand makes jet boating even safer

A recent decision made by Tourism Industry Association New Zealand has meant that the country has strengthened its position as an exceptional destination for adventure tourism. Commercial jet boat drivers are now required to have a licence and ongoing competency checks, a move set to encourage responsible tourism in the country. Jet boating on New Zealand’s beautiful rivers is popular with visitors to the area and tourist officials in New Zealand are striving to make this activity as safe as possible. The previous requirement was for drivers to have 50 hours of jet boat experience so this new rule is a vast improvement to making an exciting and adventurous activity as safe as possible. New Zealand tourism officials are keen to make the country a fantastic safe destination for adventure and culture.
