Three Year Increase in Europe River Cruises

More and more travellers are opting to take European river cruises over the more traditional beach holidays when they decide to get away to the continent. The last three years have seen more Britons take to Europe’s waterways than each previous year, rising to 80,300 in 2011 from 69,000 in 2009. The biggest increases came on the Rhine and the Danube, two rivers which we already know have plenty to offer holidaymakers, which is why we offer cruises on them; for the two rivers together, the number of holidaymakers from 2010 to 2011 doubled. 2012 is expected to be a good year for river cruising too, and if you’d like to join one of our trips or book a place on one of our excursions in 2013, you can start looking at the trips we offer right now. With so many wonderful places to stop at and ships that provide the utmost in comfort and luxury, we’re sure you’ll enjoy a holiday with us. Image Credit: Dave-F (
