Wellington Enjoys Increased Tourism in 2011/12

Figures have just been released by the city’s tourism partnership that has shown growth in some of the key areas for holidaymakers throughout the period. This is despite the gloomy financial situation around the world, demonstrating that the city has loads to offer visitors and that people are determined to take advantage of it. There’s something for everyone in Wellington, with cultural, historic, artistic and nature-based attractions to be found. It’s also well known for its coffee, so any caffeine addicts are sure to enjoy a stay there.
