New Zealand Wine Wins Prestigious Award

New Zealand is well known for its wine, and so the awarding of a Decanter World Wine Awards international trophy to Brent Marris for his 2011 Sauvignon Blanc is a great recognition of the country’s quality wine producers. Around half of the entries for the category came from New Zealand, showing just how well regarded the country’s wine is and that it can hold its own against plenty of international competitors. The awards were presented at the Royal Opera House in London, and Marris believes his success is due to the techniques he uses. For anybody wanting to sample wines that can go head to head with those from France and Chile whilst also exploring a beautiful and unique country, New Zealand tours can allow you to do just that.
