Tourism New Zealand urges businesses to embrace modern technology


With things like smart phones and the increasing prevalence of laptops making people rely on staying connected more than ever before, holidaymakers expect that the businesses they use will help them do so. This is something that New Zealand’s tourism body really want to seize upon, especially as they are expecting a rush of tourists following the release of the first The Hobbit film later this year, something which is likely to attract fans that would love to upload photos of themselves stood with backdrops or areas from the film as soon as possible. Engaging with social media is also a big part of the push, as making their presence felt on Facebook, Twitter and other platforms is a wonderful way for businesses to connect with their customers and promote New Zealand tours.
