Plans for boost to bike tourism in New South Wales

The club is hoping to encourage more visitors to visit New South Wales to take advantage of the fantastic cycling facilities that they have there, whether for trail cycling or mountain biking. Rodney Farrell, vice president of the Central West Off Road Bike Club, has said that the mountain biking community in the area is strong, and with the climate ideal for year-round cycling, there are plenty of reasons for bike lovers to visit Australia.

Rodney Farrell also went on to say that new access to the Lake Canobolas Sanctuary and a $10,000 investment into the project is a "fantastic opportunity" for cyclists, and the group are also hoping to develop a trail centre to encourage even more people to try mountain biking in this beautiful part of the country. The trail could also visit wineries and various small towns, providing a great tour experience for visitors.
