£40 million Ski Centre Planned for Paris

It’s just twelve months since the Mayor of London Boris Johnson announced his plans to build a colossal £200 million indoor ski centre in East London’s Olympic Park. Now, plans are being made for a similar complex in a Paris suburb meaning that travellers on board river cruises, who will now be able to experience a taste of the Alps within the country’s capital.

With nearly €50 million being invested in this project, the indoor ski centre will welcome ski enthusiasts of all abilities the whole year through; Snowworld plan for the temperature to maintain a steady -5 degrees even in the summer. This will be a huge draw for skiers who want to test their skills on the slopes during the summer months, when mountain snow is thin on the ground.
