The French Rail Network (RFF) and France’s national state-owned railway company (SNCF) have launched a joint €200 million scheme to update Bordeaux’s Saint-Jean railway station.
The renovation work on the Saint-Jean station is planned to be finished by 2017, with the three-year project being separated into 14 smaller developments. The station is commonly used by holidaymakers arriving in Bordeaux for one of the city’s boutique river cruises.
