Variety Santa Fun Run
A themed fun run like no other, the Ultimate Visitor’s Guide to Sydney. The second tallest observation structure, it offers views some 260m above the ground. It’s in our Christmas guide for its Santa’s Grotto, giving the chance to meet Santa Claus high up above the Sydney skyline for an impressive festive experience. When we got in touch with the Sydney Tower Eye about the event they explained why they think this event is simply unmissable:
“From November 29 until December 24, The Sydney Tower Eye will rejoice in the magic of Christmas with Santa’s Highest Grotto in Sydney, 250 metres above street level. The Observation Deck at the Sydney Tower Eye will be transformed into an enchanted wonderland complete with a fireplace, festive music and a Christmas tree. Children can also get a free photo with Santa to take home!”

Also looking to offer the authentic Christmas Market experience is the city of Perth. An event which has been entertaining revellers since mid-November, the Perth Christmas Market will continue to offer plenty of merriment until 4 January 2015. With beautiful Christmas lights, a chance to enjoy local foods and delicacies and the Christmas Carnival being just some of the free events on the calendar, there’s something for all types of visitor to enjoy.
