Legendary American rockers Journey have announced a Las Vegas residency during 2015, fantastic news for the millions of people looking forward to visiting the city this year.
A band that has entertained audiences across the world since forming back in 1973, Journey are renowned for their unique brand of progressive rock and tickets to see the group are sure to be much sought after by fans. While they do boast an extensive back catalogue of hits, perhaps their most famous is Don’t Stop Believin’; released in 1981, it is considered an iconic rock single and in 2009 was named by iTunes as the bestselling track not released in the 21st Century.
Latest rock band to head to Vegas
It’s the latest in a spate of rock bands that have enjoyed residencies in the famous city in recent years, with the likes of Def Leppard, Guns N’ Roses, Kiss and Motley Crue all performing to great success.
Journey will kick off their performances at The Joint in Las Vegas on April 29, offering nine performances until their farewell on May 16. As quoted from an official press release, guitarist Neal Schon said that they are looking forward to the residency at the Joint. As tickets are sure to become available in the coming weeks, those interested are being urged to book their seats as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
A city like no other, it’s hardly surprising that millions of people flock to Las Vegas throughout the year; it’s recently been confirmed that the city recorded a staggering 3.3 million visitors during November 2014 alone, fantastic news that proves that the Las Vegas allure is doing very little to falter.
