Guardian lists San Francisco's top vintage stores

The writer of the piece, California-based fashion journalist Erin Hagstrom, starts off by saying that 'whether it's vintage pieces, design classics or something fabulous from an edgy designer', this busy and exciting retail district really does have 'a shop for every fashion fanatic'.

A few of the places Hagstrom singles out include Static Vintage on Haight Street, which is rumoured to have 'a secret stash of rare pieces for the serious buyer', and Mercy Vintage on Piedmont Avenue, the decor of which is 'just as decadent as the clothes'.

Its busy and diverse shopping landscape is just one of the many highlights of beautiful San Francisco, with the West Coast town also famous for its plethora of award-winning restaurants and, of course, the iconic Golden Gate Bridge.
