The Northern Territory in Australia is famous for its amazing natural beauty, with the likes of Kakadu National park offering visitors on guided Australia tours some spectacular views.
The article on the Daily Mail website has revealed some of the beautiful photographs that are set to be used for a new tourism campaign for the Northern Territory.
New campaign set to demonstrate Northern Territory’s beauty
Tourism NT, who are the area’s tourism operator, got all of the country’s most renowned ‘Instagrammers’ to take snaps of the Northern Territory and its most iconic and visited places.
After several weeks and months, Tourism NT got all the photographers together to display their work and last week the tourism board decided on the best ones to use. These photographs display the Northern Territory’s most beautiful areas, such as the Kakadu National Park and the Katherine Gorge.
The aim of the project was to highlight the real beauty of the Northern Territory, or the Top End, as it is also known. This meant that photographers concentrated on taking shots of the wildlife in the region, the natural beauty that can be seen everywhere in the area and photographs of the Northern Territory’s famous sunsets.
One of the photographers that took part in the project, Lauren Bath, told the Daily Mail, “Having had the opportunity to travel to Uluru twice, as well as other areas including Darwin, Kings Canyon and Alice Springs, I am more than keen to keep discovering and capturing the Northern Territory's endless hidden gems, only found in Australia's Red Centre and the Top End.”
The idea of this project is to promote the Northern Territory on Instagram and it is hoped that the project will attract national and international visitors to the area.
Tourism NT also revealed that they are hoping more Australia tours will stop-off in the Northern Territory in the coming years and are planning to use similar initiatives in the near future to attract people.
