Prague Castle to get a facelift

A total of 380 million Czech Koruna, which is just under 14 million Euro, is to be spent on the refurbishment and repair of parts of Prague Castle, the seat of the Czech heads of state.

The beautiful 19th and 20th Century buildings surrounding the castle are a welcome sight to those travelling around the historic city on an escorted tour or luxury river cruise from Scenic Tours highlight the magic of this European city and give you the chance to see some of the most famous landmarks of Prague.

Repairs are set to be completed by mid-2015, but the Castle will still be open to the public all year round.
