Scenic wins at Globe Travel Awards 2016

Last Thursday, Scenic received the honour of winning Favourite River Cruise Company in the tightly fought Consumer Awards category at the Globe Travel Awards.

Celebrating its 30th birthday this year, Scenic’s dedication to its guests has gained recognition and distinguished the brand above some of the most well established companies sailing on the same rivers.

Scenic’s state of the art fleet of luxury river cruise ships plays no small part in the win. With some of the most spacious ships on Europe’s waterways including a Sun Deck, Vitality Pool and spa, the facilities are second to none. What’s more, the all-inclusive nature of Scenic’s river cruises makes guests feel at ease, giving them a more enjoyable experience from start to finish.

Constantly innovating, Scenic offers its guests more and more choice with new ships on the Mekong for 2016 to add to the broad range of itineraries on offer in Europe. This constantly evolving company ensures it captures and maintains its customers’ attention and imagination.

Nichola Absalom, Brand Manager at Scenic said: “We are thrilled to have been honoured at such an esteemed awards event. It’s fantastic to win Favourite River Cruise Company, especially as the award has been voted for by our customers. Focus on customers is at the heart of Scenic’s ethos and we work hard to ensure each of our guests has a trip of a lifetime.”

Having just announced the world’s first Discovery Yacht, the Scenic Eclipse and the expansion into Ocean cruising, it’s an exciting time for the brand, which is eagerly looking forward to 2016 with the inaugural sailing of the newest ships – Scenic Opal, Scenic Azure and Scenic Jasper, as well as the Scenic Spirit and Scenic Aura in South East Asia. Plus new itineraries including the 8 day Danube Discovery and 8 day Delightful Douro sailing this year.
