Set out on the seafaring journey of the Vikings, visiting important sites, hearing grand tales of adventure, and marvelling at the remote stretches of Norway, Scotland, and Iceland.

Travelling through the Hardanger Fjord to reach the North Sea, you’re privy to unforgettable panoramic views of snow-capped mountains reflected in deep, glacial waters. Traces of the Vikings are prevalent throughout the Shetland Isles, and you’ll encounter Scotland’s Norse heritage at the Jarlshof Prehistoric site or Lerwick’s Shetlands Museum. Your passage through the windswept Shetland Isles is concluded with an exclusive Scenic Enrich performance of Scottish traditions, including Highland fling, Celtic singers, and Shetland fiddlers.

The ancient town of Kirkwall signifies your passage from Shetland to Orkney. Neolithic riches are yours to discover at the World Heritage-listed Ring of Brogdar, while a visit to the Highland Park Distillery offers a warming tipple on the windswept Orkney Isles.

Day 6 welcomes you to Stornoway, a Viking settlement bustling with Gaelic art and folklore. Visit Dunvegan Castle, ancient seat of Clan Macleod, or take a tour of the Portree coast via Zodiac in the company of your Discovery Team.

Setting a course westward, you’ll leave the Orkney Isles behind for the Atlantic crossing to Iceland, where Reykjavik is your final port of call.
