Cruising the Irrawaddy on board the custom-built Scenic Aura, travel to the heart of ancient Sri Ksetra, the immersive temples of Bagan, and the colonial-influenced town of Thayetmo. Your journey begins in Yangon, where you’ll visit the Shwedagon Pagoda to take part in the traditional oil lamp lighting ceremony – just one of the Scenic Enrich encounters you’ll enjoy over 16 unforgettable days.

In the town of Sri Ksetra, marvel at 2,200 years of history, and witness why it became Myanmar’s first World Heritage-listed site. Learn the significance of traditional dress and the time-honoured face decoration of Thanaka, before exploring colonial Thayetmo, where you can visit the local markets or practice your putting on Myanmar’s oldest golf course.

Spiritual enlightenment awaits in the ancient capital of Sagaing, where you’re invited to an exclusive Scenic Enrich experience at a monastic school. Interact with monks and nuns, and offer a show of alms during a traditional meal donation ceremony. Enjoy a special Scenic Sundowners event under the U-Bein Bridge of Amarapura, before travelling on to Mandalay, where you’ll learn to produce gold leaf before joining a special ceremony at a Buddhist monastery – a fitting end to this immersive journey through the heart of Myanmar.
