13 Day Itinerary

  1. Day 1 - Reykjavik

    Welcome to Reykjavik where a world of wonder awaits as you step on board and raise your glass to toast the start of your luxurious cruise. Please book flights to arrive by 12pm.

  2. Day 2 - Snæfellsnes Peninsula

    Sparkling fjords, dramatic volcanic peaks, sheer sea cliffs and vast lava flows beckon as we cruise in and around the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. The Discovery team will point out vast concentrations of bird species nesting on the treacherous Látrabjarg cliffs and marine life in the waters of the Peninsula.

    With a flexible itinerary depending on the conditions, the Discovery team will lead Zodiac and kayak excursions.

  3. Day 3 - Denmark Strait

    Relax on board, discover the expansive array of facilities, try a class in Scenic Epicure as we cross the Denmark Strait following in Erik the Red’s footsteps heading for Greenland. Keep your eye peeled for icebergs and whales.

  4. Day 4 - Skjoldungen Fjords

    A day of discovery awaits in these fjords on the southeast coast of Greenland hosting an array of marine life including whales and seals.

    Discovery excursions by Zodiac and kayak led by the Discovery Team will be available as well as landing on the mainland and taking hikes in this untouched wilderness.

  5. Day 5 - Nanortalik

    Cruise through the majestic Prins Christian Sund, a fjord surrounded by towering mountain pinnacles and glaciers. Arrive at the little town of Nanortalik, the southernmost in Greenland. Discover the unique Inuit culture as you visit the Museum and meet the residents who share stories of their seafaring history
    with you.

  6. Day 6 - At sea

    We follow the footsteps of Leif Erikson, son of Eric as we cruise the Labrador Sea. Relax on board and perhaps learn some new cooking techniques in Scenic Epicure.

  8. Day 8 - L’Anse aux Meadows

    Visit World Heritage-listed L’Anse aux Meadows, the only known Norse village in North America and explore this unique archaeological site.

    Discover the Viking heritage on your tour of the site or, at the Viking encampment, gain insight into Norse life. You can also choose a discovery excursion by Zodiac or kayak.

    Immerse yourself in Norse culture with a private storytelling performance.

  9. Day 9 - Battle Harbour

    For two centuries, Battle Harbour was the economic and social centre of the southeastern Labrador coast of Canada. Your passionate local guide will escort you around this carefully preserved village sharing stories of the traditional life and times of Newfoundlanders and Labradoreans.

  10. Day 10 - Gros Morne National Park

    Only accessible by smaller vessels like Scenic Eclipse, Gros Morne National Park’s ancient landscape is shaped by colliding continents and grinding glaciers and is a World Heritage-listed Site.

    Take a walk with a Parks Canada guide or share morning tea with your guide and hear stories of the park and its people. Take a discovery excursion by Zodiac or kayak to explore the park’s waterways.

  11. Day 11 - Havre St Pierre

    On the shores of the Saint Lawrence River, this picturesque port is an undiscovered treasure.

    At Mingan Archipelago National Park, be amazed by the limestone formations or visit the Cetacean Research Centre. Alternatively take a tour of the town and visit the fish market or at the Innu communities understand the history of these traditional cultures. The more active may also choose to explore by Zodiac and kayak.

  12. Day 12 - Tadoussac

    Located at the confluence of the Saguenay and Saint Lawrence Rivers is the charming town of Tadoussac. A whale watchers paradise where their favourite food, krill abounds in massive amounts.

    Take a whale-watching adventure or venture on a walking tour to uncover the lifestyle of the residents. You may also choose a Zodiac, kayak or e-bike excursion.

  13. Day 13 - Québec City

    The stunning city of Québec signals the end of your cruise as you disembark after breakfast, taking with you a lifetime of wonderful memories. Please book flights to depart after 1pm.
