8 Day Itinerary

  1. Day 1 - UK > Basel

    Fly to Basel from one of up to 16 UK airports. If you'd prefer not to fly, why not take advantage of our Eurostar No-fly option at no extra cost and travel Standard Premier Class from St. Pancras international to Brussells and onto Amsterdams in First Class? You'll then be transferred to your Scenic Spae-ship. This evening, raise your glass to a fabulous curise at this evening's welcome reception. If flying into Basel please book flights to arrive prior to 15:00.

  2. Day 2 - Kehl > Strasbourg

    Freechoice

    Visit Strasbourg, discover La Petite France and stroll through the Old Town with its half-timbered houses and distinctive Alsatian winstubs. Alternatively, journey to Mittelbergheim in the Alsace and sample some of the best wines the region has to offer. Or, explore the Black Forest region during a visit to the Vogtsbauernhof Open Air Museum.

  3. Day 3 - Rastatt > Baden-Baden

    Arrive in charming Baden-Baden, a spa town famous for its Roman baths.

    Join your local guide and tour the ruins of the Roman baths that have made this city famous, or take an active hike around Hohenbaden Castle. Alternatively, visit the Mercedes-Benz factory.

  4. Day 4 - Mannheim

    Join a local guide on a historic tour of Heidelberg and visit the Renaissance castle. The castle ruins are among the most important Renaissance structures north of the Alps. Or, join a guided orientation tour of Heidelberg, followed by free time.

  5. Day 5 - Koblenz

    Take a guided tour of Koblenz, straddling two of Europe’s most beautiful rivers. Alternatively, discover Cochem, a true medieval gem resting on the banks of the Moselle River. Explore this charming city on a guided tour including a visit to Reichsburg Castle. Alternatively, visit a local winery and sample some of the fine wines of this region or take a guided cycling tour.

  6. Day 6 - Cologne

    Freechoice

    Enjoy a scenic ride on the oldest cog railway in Germany and discover splendid Drachenburg Castle, or stroll through Cologne and get up close to the filigree twin towers of the famous cathedral. Alternatively, stay on board for a beer tasting, or learn the history of one of the city’s most famous namesake, Eau de Cologne on a guided tour.

  7. Day 7 - Amsterdam

    Explore Amsterdam on a guided walking tour, pausing along the way to sample the Dutch favourite, Herring. Or, cruise the iconic canals that have made Amsterdam world famous. Alternatively, if you’re feeling more active, join a guided cycling tour or, discover charming Volendam, with its unusual raised homes and quaint wooden church, before heading to the equally charming village of Edam.

  8. Day 8 - Amsterdam > UK

    After breakfast, transfer to the airport or train station for your return journey home. Travel to one of up to 16 UK airports.
