Bram Hullebroeck, expert chocolate maker at Chocopolis, created the detailed replica from 50kg worth of chocolate. He worked on the replica for a full week before it was completed, and the structure now stands at one metre high. The chocolate version of Brussels' Town Hall will now be on display at the Chocopolis shop until the end of April.
This level of skill when it comes to manipulating chocolate can be found all across Belgium, from the busy streets of Brussels to the cobbled alleys of Bruges, and those who visit the country are sure to come across Belgian chocolate at some point. To see this skill in action, many chocolate shops run demonstrations which visitors can watch, a highly recommended excursion for those enjoying a river cruise in Europe.
