Special 75th Anniversary D-Day Cruise

To coincide with the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy, we’ve designed a special edition of our Highlights of Normandy and the Seine itinerary for 2019. Not only will you walk the beaches where British soldiers began their allied invasion, but you’ll also be part of a select group to see the unveiling of the British Memorial Site at the anniversary parade.

Active & Wellbeing

Those travelling on our South of France itinerary will now have the opportunity to visit Château de Meursault, in the heart of the Burgundy region, to taste its esteemed wines, as well as the picturesque Ardèche National Park. Guests can now embark on a guided hike through the vineyards of Avignon, or a cycling tour through the Cadillac and Médoc wine regions.

Château de la Riviere

Built in 1577, Château de La Rivière was restored in the 19th century, its three acres of underground cellars providing the ideal setting for maturing the wines they produce. This wonderful new addition to our river cruise itineraries in Bordeaux invites you to celebrate the 2,000-year history of wine as the sun sets over the vines of this spectacular estate. Talk with new-found friends as you taste its wares and explore the property. And, admire the work of a local artist painting the stunning landscape, using paint from the wine grown on the premises.

Explore the waterways of France in utmost luxury

France is a country steeped in history and culture and there is simply no better way to explore France than on our very own Scenic Space-Ships.
In 2017, we became the first and only river cruise line to offer a salt Therapy Lounge and dedicated Scenic Culinaire cooking school on board our ships in the South of France and Bordeaux.
