Jane McDonald: From Pole to Pole.

The first episode of the new series fronted by Jane McDonald and filmed onboard Scenic Eclipse and Emerald Sakara will air on January 2, at 9pm on Channel 5.

The six-part adventure series, will follow beloved television personality and seasoned traveller, Jane McDonald, as she embarks on an
extraordinary expedition from Antarctica to the Arctic.

In this ultimate voyage of discovery, Jane will traverse continents, oceans, and time zones, experiencing the wonders of the world in her signature style – combining luxury travel with breathtaking landscapes and global adventure. From the icy terrains of Antarctica to the remote beauty of the Arctic Circle, the series promises stunning visuals, engaging storytelling, and a unique perspective on some of the planet’s most spectacular destinations.

Jane will take audiences to a new location in each episode, including: Antarctica, South Georgia, The Falklands, Uruguay, Brazil, Greece, Italy, Norway, Svalbard & the Arctic Circle.

Sailing in ultra-luxury surroundings on our Antarctica, South Georgia & Falkland Islands voyage, Jane embarks on a once-in-a-lifetime helicopter flight above Antarctica, discovers Winter Island by Zodiac, and reflects on some very special wildlife interactions.
